Peeps is no stranger to pushing the boundaries of marshmallow innovation. From Icee Blue Raspberry to Cookies and Cream Ice Cream, the brand has surprised—and sometimes bewildered—fans with its unexpected flavors. But its latest creation might just be the most unhinged one yet—and you won’t even find it in the snack aisle.
Peeps and Promised Land Dairy Partner on a New Milk
Brace yourself: Peeps has officially entered the dairy game. In collaboration with Promised Land Dairy, the brand has launched Sweet Marshmallow Milk. If the thought alone makes your stomach churn, you’re not alone.
“I fear this milk,” one fan confessed. “I’m calling the police,” joked another.
Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time Peeps has ventured into the dairy department. Back in 2015, the brand released a line of marshmallow-inspired milk with Prairie Farms, featuring flavors like chocolate, strawberry, orange crème, eggnog, and classic marshmallow. Additionally, Highland Dairy took a turn at crafting Peeps-flavored milk. So, believe it or not, there’s a real market for the stuff.
But, if the idea still makes you wary, the milk brand behind the product might just change your mind. For those unfamiliar, Promised Land Dairy has been winning over milk lovers since 1987. Founded on a small farm in Floresville, Texas, the brand specializes in ultra-creamy, indulgent flavored milk that fans swear by.
“I literally have a Promised Land strawberry milk in my fridge at all times,” one devoted customer shared. “It is so thick and creamy. Hands down the best milk ever.”
Given Promised Land’s reputation for rich, high-quality dairy, if anyone can make marshmallow milk actually work, it’s this producer. In fact, this marks the first-ever brand collaboration for Promised Land Dairy.
This limited-edition release blends Promised Land’s signature whole milk with the unmistakable sweetness of Peeps, promising “Easter delight straight from the cow,” according to the press release.
“We’re always looking for new ways to bring the magic of Peeps to fans beyond the Easter basket, and this collaboration with Promised Land Dairy does just that,” said Caitlin Servian, Brand Manager for Peeps. “Peeps Sweet Marshmallow Milk captures the signature sweet marshmallow flavor fans know and love in a whole new way, making it the perfect addition to Easter celebrations this season.”
Early reviews suggest this might not be the nightmare fuel some fear. “They actually taste pretty good… super thick and creamy,” one reviewer noted. “My kids keep asking for more,” added another.
The Peeps Sweet Marshmallow Milk is available at select grocers nationwide through April 20. While we’re not exactly sprinting to the dairy aisle, we have to admit—we’re curious enough to take a sip.
