There’s plenty to love about Costco. Not only does the wholesale warehouse have some amazing and fairly priced products, from groceries to household essentials, but also incredibly on-trend ones. Whether you’re looking for a great deal on Irish butter or a fan-favorite Starbucks drink that doesn’t require you to hit the drive-thru, Costco has it all.

I am, unfortunately, one of the few who doesn’t have a Costco membership, but after seeing a viral dessert finally gracing the shelves, I just might have to look into purchasing one.

Costco Releases New Dubai Chocolate Box

In case you haven’t been on social media over the past few months, Dubai Chocolate skyrocketed in popularity after TikToker Maria Vehera posted a video eating the dessert. In the video, which has more than 114 million views, Vehera is seen enjoying the “Can’t Get Knafeh of It” chocolate bar, which features a blend of milk and dark chocolate filled with green, crispy knafeh (a phyllo dough pastry made with sweet cheese and syrup), pistachio cream, and tahini. However, fans quickly realized they could only find the dessert from the Dubai-based shop Fix Dessert Chocolatier.

Since it went viral, you can now order the famous chocolate bar directly from the chocolatier, but one bar alone will cost a pretty penny. So, it’s no surprise that products inspired by the flavors slowly started to pop up in the U.S. and recipes attempting to recreate the candy bar began to trend.

However, home cooks quickly discovered that recreating the creamy, filled chocolate bar was harder than it looked—and Dubai Chocolate products never stay on shelves for long. Now, for the first time ever, Dubai Chocolate is hitting a big box retailer for everyone to try.

Dubai Chocolate was recently spotted at a Costco in Michigan by Instagram user @costcohotfinds. Unlike the chocolate bar that we’re used to seeing, the Bouchard Dubai Chocolates are bite-sized milk chocolate pieces with the iconic pistachio and knafeh filling. Each box contains 41 pieces and retails for $17.99.

“These are super smooth but have a crunch from the pistachios,” Laura Jayne Lamb said in the video. “They’re excellent.”

Fans noticed that in the video, practically half of the box was already eaten and concurred that they, too, would “eat [the chocolate] in one sitting.”

“We are running, not walking to Costco,” another user commented.

While a few other social media users have found the Bouchard Dubai Chocolates, it seems like many fans are having a hard time finding the product in stores and online. So, the 41-piece chocolates might be rolling out slowly to Costco stores across the country—maybe timed with a Valentine’s Day launch.

It's unclear how long the chocolates will stay on the shelves once they're fully stocked, so if you've been itching to try the viral chocolate bar, you'll want to get to Costco ASAP.
