Aldi is coming for Williams Sonoma again. The budget-friendly grocery store has been releasing incredible copycats lately, from a $20 version of a $100 serving bowl to a $5 copycat that every kitchen needs. The grocery chain even dropped a $13 Lazy Susan that looks strikingly similar to a $50 Williams Sonoma version.

Now, Aldi is back with another money-saving Williams Sonoma alternative: a stockpot. While you probably don’t use a stockpot every day, when you need it, you’re glad you have it. In warm weather, the large, tall pot is essential for making a Low country boil or boiling whole lobsters. And, if you’re tasked with making potato salad for a crowd, the big pot can double as a mixing bowl.
If you’ve suddenly realized you need a sleek stockpot for summer entertaining, head to the Aldi Finds aisle this week and grab one of these copycats. Because it has a feature that we actually prefer over the Williams Sonoma version.
Aldi's Crofton 12-Quart Stainless Steel Stockpot
Stainless steel is the gold standard for cookware. It conducts heat well, is durable, and it’s hard to tarnish. That makes it a go-to material for a stockpot. And now through May 20, you can score a stainless steel pot for under $25.
Aldi’s Crofton 12-Quart Stainless Steel Stockpot, which is on sale for $22.99, is similar to the 12-quart Cuisinart stockpot sold at Williams Sonoma. And while the Cuisinart pot will set you back $89.99, Aldi’s copycat is just $29.99.

The biggest visual difference between the two stockpots is the lid design. The Cuisinart lid is solid stainless steel and the Aldi lid is glass with a tiny hole to let out steam.
We actually like the glass lid. It allows a peek into the pot to make sure things aren’t boiling too hard or not boiling at all without having to lift the lid and lose any steam.
While you’re at Aldi this week, check out the stockpot, and if you like it, grab it. It’s on sale for just one week or until it sells out. And if you need one more reason why a stockpot will come in handy this summer: It can hold a whole lot of fresh corn on the cob. And who doesn’t eat as much of that as they can all season long?
