From tasty burgers to sweet ice cream treats, Sonic Drive-In is known for both classic, fan-favorite menu items and keeping fans on their toes with limited-time releases. Recent over-the-top drops included a witchy, Halloween-themed slush float and an out-of-this-world slush to commemorate 2024’s total solar eclipse.
But the newest sip at Sonic is on a different, mythological level: Starting April 28, Sonic app users can order a dreamy new slush made of sparkles, clouds, and a little bit of fast food magic.
Sonic Releases New Unicorn Dreams Slush and Collectible Straws
The newest drink to hit the Sonic app is the Unicorn Dreams Slush: a vibrant, pink cotton candy-flavored slush swirled with blue raspberry bursting bubbles. Atop this colorful, flavorful sip, Sonic guests will find a fluffy cloud of whipped topping and a sprinkle of shimmering pink cotton candy sugar crystals. Just like the mythological unicorn, this rare Sonic beverage will be colorful and sparkly enough to inspire a bit of whimsy and wonder.

If you’re not a Sonic app user, worry not. Starting May 5, the Unicorn Dreams Slush will appear on Sonic menus nationwide. However, there’s a freebie with this drink, and it’s definitely worth downloading another fast food app for.
Along with the release of the Unicorn Dreams Slush, Sonic is releasing four collectible unicorn horn straws. The Legendary Wish-Awakening Unicorn Horn Straw is served up for free with the Unicorn Dreams Slush and, just like the drink, it packs a bit of mystery. Sonic guests who order the Unicorn Dreams Slush will receive one of four enchanting horns: white-to-pink color-changing, green-to-blue color-changing, neon green glow-in-the-dark, or frost blue glitter. If you ask us, the possibility of collecting all four horn-tastic straw colors is a pretty magical excuse to order several of the new slushes.
