We aren’t sure what’s gotten into Jersey Mike’s with its new menu advancements this year, but we are certainly not complaining. Since the beginning of 2025, it seems like every month the sub chain graces fans with yet another new sandwich to try.
In January, it released its all-new chicken breast, which has been featured in the cold Roasted Chicken Breast Sub and hot Spicy Chicken Italian Sub ever since. Then, Jersey Mike’s teamed up with Brooklyn’s Mike’s Hot Honey to add the sweet-and-spicy condiment to the Mike’s Hot Honey Chicken Cheesesteak—or to any one of Jersey Mike’s beloved sandwiches.
Now, because this year seems to be all about chicken, the chain is releasing a new sandwich that we can’t believe it hasn’t had on the menu before. This month, Jersey Mike’s is adding a signature Chicken Salad Sub to its menu board.

You might be feeling one of two things right now: excitement over a new sub to try at your favorite sandwich restaurant or confusion about the thought of a Jersey Mike’s Chicken Salad Sub being new. Both feelings are valid—and here’s why.
Jersey Mike’s has sold a Chicken Salad Sub in the past, but it has never had widespread availability.
“Do you guys have [chicken salad]? My manager told me we’re the only one that has it in the area,” a Reddit user and Jersey Mike’s crew member posted.
While a few Redditors claimed their Jersey Mike’s locations sold chicken salad, many said they’d never seen it before.
“It’s certainly up to management. But CS was a hot seller in the stores I managed, and corporate framed it as a missed opportunity to not offer (though they never mandated we serve it),” wrote another Reddit user.

Whether you’ve happened upon Jersey Mike’s chicken salad before or not, you’ve never seen this chicken salad before. Jersey Mike’s changed its recipe and is now offering an all-new Chicken Salad Sub made with its new slow-roasted chicken, diced celery, black pepper, and mayonnaise.
The new and improved chicken salad can be ordered as a sandwich, wrap, or bowl—and, of course, doctored up Mike’s Way and with all your favorite toppings.
Seeing how popular Jersey Mike’s tuna fish sandwich has become—in part thanks to the viral “Vinny’s Way” order—we can imagine that fans of the creamy, mayo-based non-fish version will flock to Jersey Mike’s to try its latest offering. However, those fans will have to act fast because the Chicken Salad Sub is only available for a limited time—and there’s no telling when it might fly off menus.
