It’s mid-April, so by now, you’ve probably walked outside and smelled the welcome scent of someone’s grill fired up after a long winter. Or, maybe you’ve been that neighbor, sending grilled chicken, veggie, or burger aromas throughout your neighborhood.

But not everyone likes being the grill master because it can be tough to get it right if you aren’t experienced. One thing that helps is ensuring the meat or the vegetables are fairly uniform in size when they hit the grill.

When it comes to burgers, there’s an easy way to get that uniformity that doesn’t include buying expensive pre-made patties. This week, Aldi has an affordable tool that will make your burger grilling much easier this season.

Aldi’s Burger Presses

You could order a burger press from Williams Sonoma that forms 1/4-pound and 1/3-pound burgers for $30. Or, you could hit the Aldi Finds aisle this week and buy one that forms the same sizes as the former, plus 1/2-pound patties, for just $5. The grocery also has a slider press this week for the same price.

If you enjoy grilling burgers often once the weather warms, you’ll be using these presses all the time. Make fresh patties to use immediately, or take advantage of the savings when you buy ground meat in bulk and make a bunch of patties to freeze. We suggest whipping up a batch of burger sauce to keep in the fridge, too.

These handy grilling must-haves will be in the Aldi Finds aisle for one week only, or until they’re sold out. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better deal.
