We’ll give it to Pizza Hut: it sure knows how to keep customers intrigued with its new, unique menu items. Knowing that the pizza chain has released foods, like the Triple Deckeroni Pizza and the Dippin’ Strips Pizza, in the ‘90s and early ‘00s, we shouldn’t be surprised by anything that Pizza Hut does. However, more than 20 years later, the brand is still managing to have our jaws on the floor.
Pizza Hut is constantly turning heads by introducing menu items, like pasta and melts, and bringing back fan favorites, like the recent Cheesy Bites Pizza and iconic The Big New Yorker. But we wouldn’t consider those releases that wild. At least not when you compare it to Pizza Hut’s pizza-flavored Tomato Wine that it launched in 2024.
Now, however, Pizza Hut is releasing a new menu item that we’d consider even more out-of-the-box than the tomato wine. Pizza Hut is creating the first-ever Pizza Caviar.
Pizza Hut Releases New Pizza Caviar
Caviar is timeless, but it really does seem to be having a moment right now. Between “caviar bumps” and high-low pairings, it seems like everyone is dabbling in caviar right now.
This past year, Pringles showcased the ultimate high-low snack by teaming up with The Caviar Co. for a Crisps and Caviar Collection, which featured multiple Pringles flavors adorned with roe and caviar.
However, instead of simply throwing caviar on its pizza, Pizza Hut is reimagining the “caviar bump” altogether. The chain is releasing a first-of-its-kind Pizza Caviar that tastes like pepperoni.

Instead of fish, the pearls have a bold, smoky pepperoni flavor perfect for adorning any of Pizza Hut’s menu items. The pearls are made from pepperoni-flavored water coated in gelatin-like agar agar.
Pizza Hut’s new Pizza Caviar will be available as part of the “Pizza Caviar Bump Box.” The combo meal features a cheese Personal Pan Pizza and your choice of three plain boneless wings or fries, all topped with Pizza Caviar pearls.
If you want to try Pizza Hut’s newest innovation, there is a bit of a catch. The Pizza Caviar will only be available at one New York City restaurant from April 10 to 12 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., or while supplies last. If you’re in NYC, you’ll find the Pizza Caviar Bump Box at the 932 8th Avenue location for a very limited time.
If you aren’t able to try Pizza Hut’s Pizza Caviar this time, we’ll just have to cross our fingers that the chain brings the wacky offering to nationwide menus—even just for a limited time.
