Whether it’s Trader Joe’s fan-favorite Unexpected Cheddar or returning seasonal items like the Hot & Sweet Pepper Jelly that you’re pining for on a grocery run, it’s always a wise idea to check out which desserts are currently on offer at your neighborhood grocer, too.

Trader Joe’s is famous for carrying certain items for a limited time, allowing them to disappear for months, only to have them (usually) re-emerge a year later. That’s particularly true with its frozen treats and fans are always taking note of what’s available in the freezers, especially for items you can’t find anywhere else, like its Hold the Cone Mini Ice Cream Cones. These tiny ice cream-filled cones come in various flavors, some of which are seasonal. And now, a seasonal Hold the Cone flavor—one that some have called their “favorite flavor”—has been spotted back in stores, and shoppers are stocking up.

Trader Joe's Coffee Bean Hold the Cone Is Back

“Oh happy day!” Instagram’s @traderjoesobsessed shared on a post, revealing a Trader Joe’s Coffee Bean Mini Ice Cream Cone with a bite taken out of it. The beloved flavor features a chocolate sugar cone filled with rich coffee bean ice cream and a chocolate shell for a coffee-centric dessert that fans are thrilled to see back in freezers.

“The best flavor of these mini cones,” one fan said. Others commented, “I love this flavor! Yess!!” and “Hands down the best!!!!”

Someone advised everyone to “clear the freezers,” making us believe at least one person will finally be throwing away their freezer-burned Thanksgiving leftovers to pack their freezer full of mini cones. We can’t imagine a single one of these cones will sit around long enough to get freezer burn!

One commenter had a good observation. “I don’t understand why this is a seasonal flavor!” Neither do we. Is there any season when coffee isn’t appropriate? Still, TJ’s considers this a seasonal treat, which means it won’t be around forever. If you love these mini delights, you may truly want to clear your freezer and stock up on as many boxes as you can.
