Who doesn’t love a Ritz cracker? Growing up, they were the staple snacks we’d enjoy with some cheese or peanut butter wedged between.
These days, cheese is still a beloved topping, but we’ve also been known to mix it up, enjoying our Ritz with cooked hot dogs, lox and schmear, and even salted caramel. There are so many ways to enjoy Ritz crackers, you really can’t go wrong in our book.
Naturally, we grew excited once we heard our go-to versatile cracker was coming out with a brand-new spicy flavor. Now, what can we do with these? We can’t wait to find out.
Ritz Releases New Hot Honey-Flavored Crackers

Ritz fans, get ready to spice up your snacks. The popular cracker brand has launched a brand-new Hot Honey flavor perfect for when you want a little sweet heat added to that classic buttery taste.
It’s really the best of both worlds if you think about it. These offer the beloved flaky texture of the original Ritz cracker mixed with flavors of spicy chili peppers and sweet honey that offer just the right amount of heat in each bite.
This is not the first Ritz product to hit the shelves with a kick. Last year, the brand also released Ritz Bits Spicy Queso, which featured a spicy cheese blend layered between two mini crackers, and Ritz Toasted Chips Sweet Habanero, which offered a spicy kick to a crunchy snack.
Top these upgraded crackers with anything from your favorite cheese to the cured meat of your choice, or even as a dipper for spreads. We can’t wait to get a box home to pair with aged Parmesan or fresh ham and smoked Gouda. But don’t stop there. These would be tasty to swap in for regular Ritz, too, when topping casseroles, mac and cheese, or coating fish. If we’re feeling daring, we can drizzle some of our homemade hot honey for even more spice.
Ritz Hot Honey-flavored crackers will be avialable in 13.7-ounce boxes at major retailers nationwide. Time to stock up!
