Trader Joe’s knows a thing or two about dip. The neighborhood grocer has a solid list of hits, including Uncured Bacon Ranch Dip, Caramelized Onion Dip, and Caesar Salad Dip, which features all the flavors of its namesake—lettuce included. More recently, celebrity private chef Gaby Dalkin praised TJ’s Spinach Artichoke Dip, which is so good she has successfully passed off the frozen appetizer as homemade.

Now, Trader Joe’s has added a new variety to its ever-growing dip selection, and shoppers can’t stop raving about it.

Trader Joe’s Whipped Feta Spread

Whipped Feta Spread just landed on the shelves at Trader Joe’s. The creamy tub features feta cheese blended with cream cheese and plain Greek yogurt to create a tangy and satisfying dip for chips, pretzels, and veggie sticks. If you’ve never tried whipped feta before, you’re in for a treat. It can be used in a variety of dishes—essentially anywhere that needs a rich and salty punch of flavor.

For a satisfying snack, try spreading a thick layer of whipped feta on a slice of toasted sourdough bread and topping it with quartered cherry tomatoes and a drizzle of hot honey. To make it a shareable appetizer, spoon the feta spread into a shallow bowl and garnish with olive oil, fresh herbs, chopped walnuts, and crushed red pepper flakes. And don’t forget a batch of homemade pita chips for dipping.

On Reddit, fans exchanged even more mouthwatering ideas for using the flavorful find. “I’ve been eating it with tomatoes, balsamic glaze, cracked pepper, and pita crackers. Super good,” wrote one fan. “This sounds so good with their [Trader Joe’s] tinned fish, Wasa crackers, and some fresh dill and smoked paprika. Would [also] be good as pizza sauce for Greek pizza,” added another.

One person who tried the creamy dip is already coming up with more creative ways to use it. “I just added a bit of it to soup, and it was delicious. Next, I’ll try with mashed potatoes, swirling in pasta sauce, and eggs. I hope it’s not a limited availability product because I’ve got plans,” they wrote.

Unfortunately for fans, Trader Joe’s website lists Whipped Feta Spread as a limited-time product. Luckily, it’s very easy to make at home and only takes about five minutes using our Whipped Feta recipe. So, if you missed the opportunity to grab a tub or already ate your way through your stash, might we suggest trying to make it yourself?
